Sam Neely Passes, July 19, 2006
Sam Neely died Wednesday evening at his home on Padre Island. Sam was well known and loved by thousands of music lovers here in Corpus Christi and literally all over the world.
He had a fantastic career and wrote some of the great hits known by fans of popular music and country music too.

Just read that Sam had passed away. I'm sorry to hear it. All I really know of Sam was the song "Rosalie". It was a fine song. I found out about Sam because from time to time, I think of that song and try to find it on the net so I hear a bit of it.
RIP, Sam.
